Point Zero 8

Point Zero 8 offers a designated driving service which consists in bringing you back home safely with your own car, we are not taxis. Following your call to 514.953.0008, a team of two drivers will be dispatched to your location within 30 minutes or more depending on how busy we are. At the driver's arrival, the client has 15 minutes to get ready to go. If however, the client is not ready on time he will be advised that the waiting time fee is $1.00 per minute, besides the price of the transport. Every transport is insured by Intact insurance.

POINT ZERO 8 is a distributor of : The commercial Alco-Detecte for licensed establishment and for event, and also distributor of : The disposable breathalyzer.

 

Event Card : Valid one night, 2 Years or Lifetime

The One night Event card includes 1 part : The Event
The 2 Years and Lifetime Event card includes two parts :
Events and Personal cards

 

1st part: Event

You will have drivers on call to cover : Wedding, meeting, business dinner, golf tournament or THE Christmas party, etc. Everyone present at the event will be able to benefit of the service without having a personal membership.

• N.B. : For the Lifetime membership, the event part of the subscription is valid only at a LIFETIME if the company does not change its name.

Calling procedure for an event

When you call for a driver, mention the name of the company, give your name and the user's name if this is not for you and the phone number to join you. Following your call, a team of 2 drivers will be dispatched to your location within 30 minutes or more depending on how busy we are. A more accurate time can be given when calling at 514.953.0008. At the driver's arrival, the client has 15 minutes to get ready to go. If the client is not ready on time he will be advised that the waiting time fee is $1.00 per minute, besides the price for the transport. N.B. Fees will be applied for any unnecessary movements.
 

There are always fees for the transports

The fee depends on the distance you travel. The amount can be mentioned when calling, by mentioning the starting point and the final destination. Additional fees could apply for any detours or to drop off someone else. N.B. Tips are always greatly appreciated by the drivers. On request, a receipt can be sent to you by mail, fax or Email.
 

Method of payments for the transports

1^st : The fee is payable directly to the drivers in cash.

2^nd : Invoicing is available under the authorization of your company. N.B. Additional fees of 15% apply for the invoicing.

3^rd : Prepaid transports in the form of gift cards are available, no expiration date. If you buy for $320.00 or more in gift cards, we can manage them for you and pay for users. The remaining gift cards will be mailed to you after the event.

 

Team of 2 drivers waiting on the site

The service of drivers is always available on call at 514.953.0008. However, it is also possible to have a team of 2 drivers waiting on the site. A $60.00 fee per hour for a minimum of 3 hours will be charged. If the event is outside of Metropolitan Montreal, provide the roundtrip of the team in the 3 hours. The team is yours and will return after each transport, if the team goes far away from the event, we will send another team. When the team leaves with a client, the waiting time stops and the price of the transport applied.
 

Hostess on site with the Alco-Detecte

Make sure your guests do not exceed the limit by using our Alco-Detecte for your Event.

The hostess will manage the Alco-Detecte and all users of the designated drivers service, tests are FREE and UNLIMITED, a straw is provided to each user. The Alco-Detecte is a reliable available in many Licensed Establishments and Events. The instructions are easy with visual and audible instructions. The Alco-Detecte is compact and easily installed on a table at an Event. The rate for the hostess on the site with the Alco-Detecte is $488.00 for a period of 6 hours.
 

Disposable breathalyzers

Make sure your guests do not exceed the limit by using our disposable breathalyzer.

The alcohol test is a chemical disposable breathalyzer. A balloon is inflated and deflated through a tube containing the reactant. The reactant is yellow crystals, which reacts with the alcohol content in the expired air by turning green. Disposable breathalyzers are $4.00 each.
 

Publicity on our services :

To inform your guests of the service offered during your events, we will furnish with no charges, wall posters and business cards to put on tables.
 

 

2nd part: Personal cards for the 2 Years or Lifetime membership

You get 15 personal membership cards valid for 2 YEARS or LIFETIME to give to persons of your choice. The cards give you access to driver service in your vehicle. We are not taxis.

Save the life of a friend: With this card you can offer the service to your friends, customers and guests who are with you and have their own vehicle, without them being members. The price of transports is still extra.

• N.B. : For the 2 YEARS membership, the cards can be personalized or be under the name of your company. They are transferable if an employee leaves the company and all the cards have different membership numbers.

• N.B. : For LIFETIME membership, the personal cards must be personalized, they are not transferable if an employee leaves the company, they cannot change the name in the future. All the cards have different membership number and they will always remain valid for a LIFETIME. However, the event part of the subscription is valid only at a LIFETIME if the company does not change its name.
